Before the Session
After you schedule your session, I will mail you a welcome packet with a contract, a model release form, my pricing brochure, and some session tips. You will then mail the contract and model releases back with a deposit (the cost of the sitting fee) to guarantee your session date.
The sitting fee includes my time and talent during your personal session, digital processing and re-touching, an online proofing gallery to view your images, and an ordering consultation.

Your Session
The location of your session is completely up to you! I can meet you at your house, a park, or if we are doing some studio shots you can come here! If you would like, I can suggest a few of my favorite spots. However, if we are scheduled to do an outdoor session and the weather is uncooperative that day, we will need to reschedule.

Print Orders
Within two weeks of your session, I will publish your photos to an online viewing gallery. You will have 30 days to schedule an ordering consultation. We will meet at my studio and I will present a slideshow of your photos, and then I will explain my specialty products and help you make your final order. Your payment will be due that day. I will give you my professional opinion on size options that are perfect for your home. This meeting is personalized for YOU, and I want to make it as beneficial as I can!
Your final order will be ready approximately 2-3 weeks after your order has been placed (this may be longer if you order albums or other specialty products). I will contact you to set up a convenient time for you to pick up your order.

I encourage you to bring anything that makes you an individual! Bring letter jackets, instruments, sports equipment, or your car!
Choose your clothing in many different styles: casual to dressy, funky to fun- but don't forget the accesories! Hats, scarves, sunglasses, jewelry, etc. Have fun with this, it's your time to shine!

** When choosing your family's outits, please try to match colors and tones. I don't mean that everyone should wear the same exact color (that would be boring!) but choose colors that compliment each other and have the same tone. Stick to two different colors- for example, if you choose brown and blue, everyone in the group should wear different shades of either brown or blue. Solids work the best; please stay way from big logos and patterns (they are distracting) and stay away from bright whites (cream works great). Clothing is something many people either struggle with, or neglect, but can make a photo go from good to fantastic, so please put thought into your choices (I promise it will be well worth the effort!) I am always more than happy to answer any questions you may have, so feel free to give me a call!

I love candid shots with kids, so we will let the kids play around and do their thing while I interact with them. If they are younger, this is probably all we will do, but if they are older we will try some fun, casual posing.
When choosing outfits for multiple kids, keep the outfits in the same style (casual, dressy, etc.) and match color tones. You are more than welcome to change outfits during your session.
